TGM scandal
The Cesar has now denounced basic and acquired motion as being junk and flipping is acceptable. How much more is tgm headquarters willing to take?
This is becoming a scandal and putting a slight on tgm community

If you are talking about who I think you are I've ignored him a long time ago. His actions are irrelevant, I offer you the same life.

The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)

No leadership there . . . . The Machine has a life of its own . . . it lives and breaths . . . it don't need no gas to run . . . . the book is sooooo much bigger than the home office . . . . read the book . . . . let it be your filter . . .

If somebody that is authorized says that something in the book is garbage . . . . who cares. Frankly some of the stuff in the earlier editions to me is better than what evolved. But hey . . . it's your golf game or your student. You have to put the components together and match them appropriately. If some schmuck wants to take a squirt on the book or what some other instructor is teaching . . . . let him throw down the turd . . . . he'll do a swan dive into it wittingly or unwittingly eventually.

Same ole playbook . . .

In the book's foreward, Homer indicates its intention is to be a toolbox for the golf professional. What each professional, authorized or not, does with the book seems to be his or her own business. I see nothing in the book that says it should never be challenged, or that new ideas should not be tested. Either it works or it does not.

Hitting a Homer
The Geometry of a Circle and the Physics of Rotation. Don't think those things are going to change.

Agreed, dodger, with certain reservations (and observations) which I will offer in a later post.

For now, I like your diirection. Let's take the thread there and move away from any 'instructor specific' comment. Otherwise, per our Posting Rules, we will have to close this thread.

Fair enough Boss but how can these motions be considered junk when they help alignments and give compression
I can understand the point of D plane and some flip going on ( as long as player controls them ) working but surely the pressure they exert on the ball is ordinary
Even if it takes a year to be able to take the motion into a full swing the player will be better off cause they won't need a different band-aid every time

I thought Caesar died a long time ago.

Elvis is dead, too, if no one knew.

FYI - I saw Elvis this morning at a 7-11 in Cedar Park, Texas. Alive and well!
