Tom Stickney II

I really don't know Tom stickney II is a GSED until today i did a little google search.

He really did introduce the frame work of Homer Kelley to the public golf world. So many articles can be found in Golf Magazine; Golf Illustrated and will also be Golf Digest.

Unfortunately his stuff gets sterilized by two of those magazines. His best stuff was published in Southern Magazine along with Ron Gring.

click on Tom's Tips, and lo and behold- he credits HOMER KELLEY in these articles. He never hid his relationship to TGM.

Thanks! I found his web site during the search and already saved all those TGM related materials. Zone one is in the "pivot" tips, pretty good!

Here is Tom's last sentence in the pivot article:

"Special thanks once again to The Golfing Machine and the late Homer Kelley, without him none of this information would be possible! "

This guy is always on my short list of instructors.

How about his. This is an old post of mine, there is an absolute treasure trove of TGM from both Gring and Stickney in the back issue links

A fine gentleman on Brian's forum talked Southern Golf into opening up their archives which include much TGM from Ron Gring (Whom i think attended a recent LBG etc workshop) and Tom Stickney II. Both are TGM and use a lot of terms as well as giving Homer much credit. There are some super articles in this lot. As per they may have their own interpretations and idea's of the book. I think Lynn and co will be ok with me spreading some more TGM in here for personal use

Thanks, John Thomas. When it helps our members, it helps us.

Especially when it causes us to sharpen our own axe.

:)

You were NOT stupid to post- cut it out. I'm glad JohnThomas1 kept the links. I have all the copies from Southern Golf but none digital. Now because of your post, we Lynn Blake Golfers, have the link again. Thank you JThomas
