Where to start??

Where does a newby start so he can learn to understand what everything on this site means? Do I get the TGM book or one of the videos?

Thanks

May I humbly suggest you start by getting the Alignment Golf videos from this web site. Then get the book. Then indulge yourself here in the web site.
If at all possible, find a TGM instructor in your area. I would suggest letting the folks here know where you live and I'll bet they'll know an excellent guide for you not far from where you live.

Alignment Golf is great a must have! But it should be noted that all Alignments relate to the Impact Geometry........... so Id personally recommend you also buy the book and flip right ahead to Chapter 2 section C. Diagram 2-C-1 #3 to be specific and turn the book upside down so can see if from the players perspective. Then research "Steering". Then try to reconcile the differences between the diagram and Steering.

In short the place to start you journey towards the understanding of how best to hit a golf ball is ......... is right at the ball, the impact interval (notice I didnt say the moment of impact). The way the ball likes to be hit, the ideal impact geometry ....... its brilliant. And still to this day largely unknown or ignored.

Ya, know what you mean. If they are tyrants like Lynn says perhaps they actually liked being shanked? A thin shot in the old days always made em smile.
