My left wrist is flat and my right wrist is bent with my 3/4/5 irons and you'd be surprised how high they go.

They may start off a little lower then rise up but i hit them plenty high with plenty of spin.

If you swing on the correct plane and position the ball correctly you will end up not delofting the face "too much" and you'll hit the ball just fine.

However thats to say you have enough swing speed to create enough ball speed to make those 3/4 irons go high. 5 shouldn't be an issue but the 3/4 could be.
