Ted Fort / Annual Conference of the Association for Community Growth / March 11, 2010
Ted Fort, LBG's own YodasLuke, will be a main platform speaker at the annual conference of the Association for Community Growth in Orange County, California, on March 11, 2010. He will be sharing the stage with Glenn Deck, a Golf Magazine Top 100 Teacher from Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast, California. We haven't yet talked about his topic, but it's sure to be hard-hitting. :
Ted last visited the area in October 2005 when he and I were conducting the LBG Academy at the PGA of Southern California Golf Club. I have a schedule conflict this March, but with sufficient interest, perhaps Ted can reprise our 2006 event. We're a month away from his scheduled appearance in Orange County, so if you're somewhere on the West Coast and can make such an event, PM Ted, and we'll make it happen.
My schedule allows for two half-day schools. The first will be Friday, March 12th from 1:00 to 5:00. The second will be Saturday, March 13th from 8:00 to 12:00. The cost for the four hour school will be $275.
There will only be 6 openings per school, to optimize the student/teacher ratio. We will go straight to work on the practice green with putting, chipping, and pitching. Then, for the second half of the school, we will move to the range and begin total motion. Each student will receive a video golf analysis of their swing at a frame rate of 300 frames per second.
Feel free to send me a pm or an email at tufpgagolf@yahoo.com if you're interested in attending.
Having flown from Toronto to Atlanta to work with Ted, Id highly recommend this unique opportunity to anyone in So Cal.
But be forewarned, the guy is good, real good and the results.... are addictive. One lesson with him in your hood pretty much guarantees you'll be flying to the swamp at a later date. Bet you cant have just one!

I've never been called a spud and appreciated it so much. One letter away may be as close as I get.
