Will be picking up the TGM this weekend, but currently looking for some drills that i can start working with to help me generate the lag or ingrain the feeling i am looking for. Bonus points for those drills that I can do indoors considering i am in balmy Cleveland, Ohio currently. Thanks.
I really like the right arm only drill for feeling a bent right wrist through impact. The idea is to train your right wrist to maintain it's bent, level, frozen alignment from the start down, through impact.

With a ball a few inches back from center in your stance. Take your club in your right hand only. The clubshaft will run up the center of your palm and your index finger will be contacting the shaft on the aft side (around 3:00). At address, your right wrist will be bent back so that you see your skin wrinkle on the back of your wrist, level - not cocked or uncocked, and vertical with the plane of the clubshaft.

Now simply hold that right wrist position frozen from the start of your backstroke until the right forearm is parallel to the ground which is the top of your swing for this drill. Hold it in that same frozen position all the way down and through impact as long as you can. Don't let the weight of the clubhead start catching up and unbend your right wrist. Always keep the right hand ahead of the clubhead.

While doing this, aim your right index finger at the inside-aft quadrant of the ball.

As for the left arm; Tie it down, duct tape it to your side, put it in your pocket...doesn't matter, just keep it out of the way.

Repeat at least 50 times per session.
