Yes, set your Right Forearm Flying Wedge so shaft and right forearm are in line. This determines the amount of knee bend and waist bend needed for every club! You will naturally stand more upright with a 9 iron, than say, a driver.
At impact, your Left Wrist must be Flat, Level and Vertical, and your Right Wrist must be Bent, Level and Vertical. Since ball is always placed before Low Point, which is always edge of left shoulder, there must be some amount of forward lean in the clubshaft providing you keep the above alignments. A good visual cue is that your hands should cover your left toe from the player's perspective at impact. The further back ball is placed before Low Point, the greater the forward lean of clubshaft.
Remember to take your grip at Impact Fix, not before.
Yes, shoulders and hips will be rotated at impact. You right heel may also be slightly off the ground. However, I think the most important alignment to get right are your hands at Impact Fix. Concentrate on them!
Starting at Impact Fix is more compatible with Hitting than Swinging, because of the muscular carry back motion Hitter's use. If you are a Swinger, you are better off starting at 'classic address' position: Bent, Level and Vertical Left Wrist, and Flat, Level and Vertical Right Wrist.
For Hitting, Impact Alignments are sustained during the Backstroke, due the Single Wrist Action they use (only Cocking but no Turning of Left Wrist). Swingers use Standard Wrist Action- they Turn and Cock their Left Wrist during Startup.
