Seems like kids can learn anything . . . something gets screwed up somehow for most of us. Bucket, We all get what we get. Are there some people who can't be low handicappers? Probably. Is it easier for some than others? Yes. Does it help to start young, get good instruction, and be around a bunch of good players? Definitely. What if we did not have these advantages? You have to be smart about how you learn the game. Consistent imput about the swing=TGM. Good use of time on short game and putting. Learning to manage the game and yourself. Get some clubs you like and stick with them. Same with the ball. Try to eliminate as many variables as possible. Hit the same shot. Play smart but aggressive. Bucket, I think you are due for a break out season. You are doing all the right stuff, you just have to patient with the results.
