Depends on what you mean when you say: "use the whole right side through impact". It is probably more of a feel thing than a real thing. But if it means that you ruin your rhythm and let the left side break down you will not survive 18 holes, TGM or not.

but nothing goes against TGM. Although it has certain preferences here and there, it is not a method book, but a system for describing and analyzing different stroke patterns.

In any case - whether you hit or swing, you need structural support / integrity on the right and left side for a stroke without major compensations.
