What's the significance of pointing out that somebody putts like he drives and not the opposite.

If somebody putts like he drives, doesn't that mean that he drives like he putts as well? P=D=P=D etc. If one is equal with the other, they are the same - in style/technique/holding one's breath ..whatever..
