It seems to be such an important bridge from the both-arms-straight position but it's not a subconscious motion for me yet with a tendancy to execute impact as a swivel on occasions with disasterous results. There is a different compression without the finish swivel. It's serviceable but not nearly as good. I know what the finish swivel is, and I can execute it all day at half speed. It's when things get ratcheted up to full-speed that it gets fuzzy and a bit random. For example, after not quite compressing the driver for a few holes today I put my focus on ensuring I performed a good finish swivel on the 9th tee box only to hit a rare pull-hook up against the left side fence. That miss is simply not something I do much but it becomes way more likely when I focus on the fs. If the answer is simply "practice it more" I can accept that, but if anyone has some suggestions or drills I'm all ears. Feel free to direct me to existing threads/posts if they exist. Thanks. I would watch the "Lessons with Yoda-Collin Neeman" videos. So much info there regarding what/how to practice including your swivel question. Basically it's basic motion, acquired motion with the club still below the hands, acquired motion adding swivel etc. It's all there in one of the videos though I forget which one. __________________ What the HECK am I supposed to do with all of my "IN TRESSEL WE TRUST" T-shirts? faux_maestro View Public Profile Send a private message to faux_maestro Find all posts by faux_maestro
