Back To Basics
Nothing earth shattering, no fancy TGM quotes, just good old fashioned staying centered while making a weight shift...

I don't get to take many swings anymore, but the back was feeling a little better Monday and I got to hit some balls between lessons. I haven't gotten that "rubber band" feel at top in years, and the down stroke has been FAR from automatic.

Simply working hard at staying centered, I "felt" nose over the ball, while still making a weight shift by raising my left heel, but keeping the outside of my right shoe in contact with the ground.

WOW

The feel I remember from long ago was finally there again. Coiled and ready to spring from top, and the downstroke just happened. I got left and out of the way so my power package could give it a wallop. What a great feeling. Can't wait to try it again!

Thanks YODA!
