If not, do you see that as a significant disadvantage? That's a great question. I don't see anything on the Flightscope website about video. With the Android and Ipad compatibility, it seems like they are going in the direction of versatility and mobility with lower processing requirements. My buddy was using a different software for video, instead of the integrated Trackman video. So, someone else will have to explain the benefits of Trackman video. Taking Flightscope out on the golf course and having it run on my Android phone seems appealing. Although I'm not a big enough geek to dabble in creating my own Doppler radars, I am enough of a geek to integrate multiple software packages to get the job done. I would be able to save any of the data from a lesson for the student, no matter what I was using. Bringing the video and data together isn't as hard as one would seem. I'm too thrifty (cheap) to pay for someone to figure out what I'm capable of doing. My software package was $69, and I have the ability to record and save the lesson to disk, with any format, any resolution, and any frame rate. Having to pay $1500 for software would turn my stomach. When you can't figure out some of these things on your own, the sticker price can shock you. That's why Trackman and Flightscope have us all by the short hairs. You want it, you pay. __________________ Yoda knows...and he taught me! For those less fortunate, Swinging is an option.
