"In my experience, if you stay with the essentials you WILL build a repeatable swing undoubtedly. If you can master the Imperatives you have a champion" (Vikram).
The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)
Why if at the top of the swing my wrist is arched and the clubface points more to the sky is that closed and when my wrist is bent "they" consider the clubface open, when if I am at address/impact if I arch my wrist the clubface points more to the right - "open" and if I bend my wrist the clubface points more to the left - "closed"?

To limit confusion - For each of the above two questions and the one in this post - please consider labeling your reply post with the following subject title as such:
1st post - label it 1st post or "at address open and closed"
2nd post - label it 2nd post or "at the top open and closed"
3rd post i.e. this post below - label it 3rd post or "acceleration"
using an example or simple english explain the relationships i.e. integrate the following concepts.
speed, velocity, acceleration, force, momentum
(feel free to correspondingly support the english version with the mathematical definition and relationship of each concept)
